Magna (Warrior)

6.3magna.png

Despite Magna's occasional unpredictable nature, she stops at nothing to safeguard her family in times of crisis.

LT: Unleashed Fighter

Magna's Charge Attack leaves a {x}*{x} pitfall where the main attack is, lasting {y} turn(s). Enemies in the pitfall are rooted and suffer +{z}% additional total damage when attacked by Magna. Enemies within 1 space of the pitfall will have priority to fall in if there's any empty space.

If melee survivors attack while standing inside or next to a pitfall, they regain half an action point to move away after the main attack.

As a leader, all teammates gain this bonus. Ranged teammates' pitfall size is 1 space. The max number of pitfalls is {a}.

Special Functionality

Reaches two spaces away and hits in a cone shaped area. Overwatch attacks force the enemy to end their turn early.

If the user did not move before attacking, regains an Action Point after attacking once per turn. If this point is used to make another attack, it is guaranteed Critical Hit and weakens the target(s) for 1 turn.

Melee attacks against weakened enemies are guaranteed to not be body shots, and have a 100% chance to give a charge point.

Charge attack is guaranteed Critical Hit. Has a unique charge attack.

Traits

Silver Lethal, Golden Destructive, Golden Razor

Availability

After the TWD: Daryl Dixon premiere in September, you can pick up Daryl's Skeggox in the Lonely Voyage Campaign!

New: Heirlooms

Heirloom-Icon.png

To enhance the overall gaming experience in NML, we aim to strengthen the connection between characters based on the classic storyline. As part of this effort, we are planning to improve some of the early-introduced heroes to align their traits and strengths more closely with the original TWD stories.

Thus, we came up with this new 'Heirlooms' feature. Heirlooms contain buffs for certain heroes, upgradable through Hero tokens for said Hero and the Hero they have a connection with, as well as new Heirloom badges and some Gold.

Where to find the Heirlooms?

You can find the Heirlooms in Heroes’ detailed page. It’s next to the hero's name and indicated by the icon displayed above.

How to use a Heirloom

To start using a Heirloom, you first need to unlock the two heroes related to the Heirloom. While one of the characters is the hero who can benefit from the Heirloom's powers, they can only do so by sharing the bond they have with the other character. Example: to use the Heirloom 'Friendship Bracelets', you first need to unlock Daryl (owner of the Heirloom) and Guardian Carol (the strong bond related to the Heirloom).

The starting level of a Heirloom is 0. You have to upgrade it once to unlock it, then you can equip it to the specified Hero. Once it’s equipped, the Heirloom will automatically activate in all missions. Upgrading a Heirloom can be done through Gold, Hero Tokens, and Heirloom Badges up to level 15 (the current maximum level). It's also possible to unequip the Heirloom.

Heirloom Badge

The Heirloom Badge is a new item that is used to upgrade Heirlooms at certain levels. You can obtain Heirloom Badges from Challenge Mode and Campaigns.

A video by RealScotticus explains how to use Heirlooms in full detail.

Heirloom: Daryl

6.3friendshipbracelet-1.png

In order to use Daryl's Heirloom, 'Friendship Bracelets', both Daryl and Guardian Carol needs to be unlocked. You can find the Friendship Bracelets on Daryl's detailed page. Upon activation, the buffs 'Hunting Expert' and 'Lucky' are activated for Daryl.

Hunting Expert

After a Charge Attack, Daryl has a {x}% chance of enabling every survivor to regain a Charge Point instantly.

Attacks towards enemies within {y} spaces of Daryl cripple them for 1 turn.

Lucky

Improves the chances that other traits will take effect by {z}%.

Changing Daryl (6.4)

Leader Trait 'Silent Shot'

Note: changes are displayed in Bold Italic.

Daryl's attacks do not attract more walkers {0}% of the time, and are {1}% more likely to be Critical Hits.

Every silent shot he makes has a {2}% chance of giving him {3} Charge Point(s). His Critical Hit deals +{4}% total damage.

As a leader, these bonuses apply to Assault, Hunter, and Shooter Survivors. Total critical chance cannot exceed 90%.

Council Level 30

Starting on December 4, there is a new council level available for players at Player Level 81, bringing the max council level to level 30.

We are introducing the new council level in time for 2024, where we have plans to introduce a new mode and build on Challenge Mode, amongst other things. More details on that later.

Details
  • Maximum level: Workshop, Training Grounds, Farm Plots, XP Tents, Radio Tent, Mission Car, and Hospital can now be upgraded
  • Cap increase: You are now able to have 5 Supplies Storage and XP Tents
  • XP capacity: The new council level increases XP capacity to 16 million
  • Workshop: The maximum level of equipment is raised one level, to level 34
  • Training Ground: The maximum level of survivors is raised one level, to level 31
  • Supplies Storage: The total capacity of supplies is now 30 million. It’s now also possible to build 5 Supply Storages instead of 4.
  • Farm Plots: Production for the new level is increased to 5.6k supplies per hour with a maximum of 58k supplies
  • XP Tents: We recently discovered  that we accidentally left double storage capacity on for months after a weekend component event, turning our level 13 XP storage into 64k XP total. With this new update, we will bring our level 13 XP storage back to the intended 32k XP total. The newly added level 14 XP Tents have an increased production to 6.5k per hour and a maximum capacity of 37.2k
  • Radio Tent: The new level offers cooldowns for the offered free calls. We go from 7 days to 5 days for the ‘Choose from 3’ call and from 3.5 days to 2.5 days for the ‘Choose from 2’ call
  • Mission Car: The maximum capacity is 65 gas after upgrading
  • Hospital: Upgrading the Hospital will give a heal time reduction of 95 minutes

Other changes

Challenge rewards

We mixed up some of the Challenge rewards to allow you to collect other Hero Tokens. Enjoy!

Gwapo's Golden Roar

Our 'trophy weapon', Gwapo's Golden Roar (Assault), has been added to the game with Silver Lucky, Golden Crippling, and Golden Concussion.

Attacks in a 90-degree cone. Attacks that are not Body Shots push targets back 1 space. If the targets collide with another enemy or an obstacle, they get stunned (as long as they are not stun-resistant). Enemies that collide with a pushed target also get stunned (as long as they are not stun-resistant).

Charge attack is Bulldozer.

Again, congratulations to MichaelGwapo for winning this design-a-weapon event.

Bug fixes and visual improvements

Version 6.3
  • Fixed the issues with Tyreese’s Leader Trait ‘Made to Suffer’ that makes walkers walking into each other.
  • Fixed the issue that Tactical from Reinforced Broadsider Suit (Assault Armor from Survival Pass season 10) won’t trigger properly.
  • Fixed the issue that the button in Daily Task - Join a Guild wasn’t responding properly.
Version 6.4
  • Fixed several Guild Wars issues where a bug caused players to lose an Attacking Sword. In a lot of cases, swords should now automatically be re-issued when lost.
  • Fixed the bug that when Magna is the Leader, her Charged Attack failed to create a new pitfall after the teammates made Charged Attacks.
  • Fixed several sound effects on various weapons.
  • Fixed the display setting where Heirloom upgrade’s available materials are shown after the required materials.

Work in progress

Speed Up Tokens

We are currently reworking Speed Up tokens and while you are already able to see some visuals for that, it’s not yet working as intended. We are working hard to finish this change as soon as we can.

Meanwhile, healing/upgrading now requires one extra click:
