Challenge Mode update
One of the most regular feedback we receive is that the difficulty level of TWD: No Man’s Land went down after the introduction of several new heroes and weapons. Our first step of listening to these concerns is by adding 10 more rounds to our Challenge mode. We would like to introduce “Plight” as our ‘round 81 to 90-feature’, where we went all out to make Challenge as challenging as possible without affecting the first 80 rounds.
Plight (round 81 -90)
The addition of “Plight” in the Challenge mode involves unexpected changes within situations familiar to players, like the abnormal behavior of the enemies.
Plight consists of various debuff effects. Each Challenge period will employ one or multiple debuffs (selected based on the mapset’s difficulty and frequent-used strategies of the player) to form a “Plight”.
Plight will be activated upon the start of Challenge round 81, and will act as a permanent effect impacting the battles from rounds 81 to 90.
Examples of debuffs forming a Plight below:
It’s possible to check the Plight debuffs in the menu by scrolling over them, or in-game by tapping the new icon on top of the screen:
Rewards
Getting 5358 stars in the challenge and the rewards related to that will be of equal difficulty as before. The new Plight rounds will be on top of this as an extension to the current challenge. You’re now able to obtain 6,210 stars.
The Ones Who Live Missions
We added 6 new Season missions for The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live. They will be available on the Monday after each episode. The first chapter can be expected on Monday, February 26.
Jadis (Hunter)
Jadis divides everyone into two categories and reports to a mysterious organization via radio. While you are still hesitating whether to trust her, she has already decided your fate.
Leader Trait: A/B Tester
The Main Target of Jadis' Charge Attack will be tagged as 'A'. An ‘A’ enemy won't move, but is still able to attack. If there are other walkers around an 'A', up to {0} of them will target and attack ‘A’, dealing {1}% of full damage each.
The target(s) of Jadis' normal attack has a {2}% chance to be tagged as 'B'. When a survivor attacks B, Jadis and that survivor has {3}% chance to get a Charge Point.
'A' and 'B' tags last for 1 turn.
As a leader, this Leader Trait is shared with all ranged teammates.

When you pass a walker, you have a 100% chance to not be attacked. The same applies for passing a human enemy, with a 60% chance to not be attacked. Deals extra damage.
Charge attack is a bonus attack that damages in a circular area and stuns all targets. Inflicts guaranteed critical hit.

Heirloom: Rick (6.7)
Rick will be the second hero ever to receive an Heirloom, just in time before TWD: The Ones Who Live starts! To use Rick's Heirloom, 'Rick and Michonne's Phone Portrait', both Rick and Michonne need to be unlocked. You can find Rick and Michonne's Phone Portrait on Rick's detailed page. Upon activation, the buff is activated for Rick.
Phone Portrait
After Rick kills {0} enemies, if Rick attacks a walker twice during your turn, he has a {1}% chance to kill it instantly (up to {2} insta-killed walkers). Attacks deal {z}% more total damage.
Special mark
Whenever you have a chance to instantly kill an enemy, a mark will be shown above the target:

Changing Rick
With the earlier introduction of Heirlooms, our goal is to give a boost to underappreciated heroes. This time we have Rick as the buffed hero.

Speed Up Tokens
We are currently reworking Speed Up tokens and while you are already able to see some visuals for that, it’s not yet working as intended. We are working hard to finish this change as soon as we can.
Meanwhile, healing/upgrading now requires one extra click:
