Survivors,
Update 7.20 is planned to go live tomorrow, introducing the new Returning Survivor Event, the Bone Saw Staff, several improvements, and important bug fixes.
New Feature: Returning Survivor Event
Welcome back, Survivors!
Eligible returning players will automatically unlock the Returning Survivor Event after logging in.
Complete exclusive Returning Missions to earn valuable rewards, collect Return Tokens, and gain access to special returning bundles.
Missions and rewards will scale based on your Council Level when the event is activated. Once activated, the Returning Survivor Event cannot be triggered again for 180 days.
Returning Survivor Benefits
After activating the event, returning players will receive three days of exclusive benefits:
- 3 Days of Double Hero XP
- 3 Days of Double Resource Production
- 3 Days of 5-Second Building Upgrades
- 3 Days of 5-Second Survivor Training
Use these bonuses to rebuild your settlement and strengthen your team faster.
Returner Bootcamp & Exchange Store
The Returning Survivor Event includes the Returner Bootcamp and Exchange Store in a single interface.
The Exchange Store is displayed by default, and players can switch between the two tabs at the top of the screen.
Complete Returning Missions to earn Return Tokens, then spend them in the Medal Exchange tab to claim valuable rewards.
New Weapon: Bone Saw Staff
The Bone Saw Staff attacks enemies in a line within a range of two spaces and has 33% increased weapon damage.
It includes:
- Active Skill: Fork Strike
- Passive Effects: Interruptor, Coordinated Attack, and Tactical x Deadly
- A Charge Attack that applies Surgery
- A 50% Lucky Chance for its Charge Attack not to consume Charge Points
Fork Strike
Casting Fork Strike grants 10 Energy. Five Energy is lost at the end of each round, while allied units grant two Energy after performing a Charge Attack.
The effect expires when Energy reaches zero and has a four-round cooldown.
While active, Fork Strike increases the weapon’s attack distance by one tile and adds two additional linear attack areas.
Tactical x Deadly
When the user attacks without moving first, they regain one Action Point after attacking, once per turn.
If that Action Point is used to attack again, the attack is guaranteed to be a Critical Hit.
Surgery
Surgery reduces the target’s Movement Range to one tile.
Damage received by the target during the turn is accumulated and resolved at the end of the turn, dealing additional damage to the target and splash damage to nearby enemies.
If the target carrying Surgery is defeated, one instance of splash damage is triggered immediately.
Improvements
- Refreshed Streetwise Maggie’s 2D artwork based on player feedback to better reflect her iconic appearance
- Changed the Weapon Special Functionality description from center alignment to left alignment for improved readability
Bug Fixes
- Fixed the Survival Manual bonus stats display
- Fixed an issue with Super V’s Overwatch
- Fixed a Guild War issue that could cause the game to reload when moving survivors
Thank you for your continued feedback and support.
