Apocalypse Equipment?

To improve the overall in-game balance and bring some freshness to the game, we started focusing on gameplay changes since last year. Since Update 6.8, we have a new equipment rarity called 'Apocalypse'. Special Apocalyptic traits can for example increase damage, increase non-body shot chances, or reduce damage taken when fighting with high-level walkers. The larger the level gap is, the more effective these traits are.

Apocalyptic Traits are automatically available upon receiving the equipment; no need to unlock/upgrade.

A list of Apocalypse equipment can be found in-game under the Apocalypse tab in the Workshop. You can also see the amount of Apocalypse Tokens you have for the various Apocalypse Equipments and click ‘Assemble’ once you reach 200 Apocalypse Tokens.

Token distribution

You can obtain Apocalypse tokens through various Seven-Day Login Rewards Events, by playing Last Stand, through Campaigns, at the Black Market, and in the Trade Goods shop.

Campaign

Campaigns are where the newest Apocalypse equipment is being introduced and where you can see the first Apocalypse Tokens.

Last Stand

With the 3 Last Stand Tickets received per week, you can get 3 Apocalypse Tokens for both the CRM Trident and the Apocalyptic Survivor each week. Make sure to reach Wave 3 for the CRM Trident and Wave 4 for the Apocalyptic Survivor.

After your 3 Last Stand Tickets, you can play 15 more rounds for 100 Gold each. Each of those sessions will grant you an extra Apocalypse Token per requirement made.

Seven-Day Login Rewards

During various Seven-Day Login Rewards Events, it’s possible to get Apocalypse Tokens for free.

Black Market

Several Apocalypse Tokens will be available according to the schedules below in the Black Market for 150 gold each.

Trade Goods

Several Apocalypse Tokens will be available according to the schedules below in the Trade Goods shop for 30.000 Trade Goods each.

Direct purchase

Apocalypse Equipment will sometimes be available for sale in our Bundle- and Trade Fair stores.

Apocalyptic Trait

Apocalyptic Body Shot - When attacking enemies that are 5 levels higher than the user, for each further 1 level higher, the chance of normal attack body shots decreases by 3% (up to a maximum of 20%)

Special Functionality

This weapon does not generate walker threat and the hit area is widened by 0.5 meters. Non-body shots have a 60% chance to root the target(s). This can be amplified by Lucky. Charge attack is a bonus attack that inflicts a guaranteed Critical Hit and roots target(s).

For now, with each Apocalypse equipment we will add a section to this page. We also aim to have this page linked in-game for easy access at a later date. We are also looking into a way to obtain earlier released Apocalyptic Equipment, besides equipment being available in our stores.
