Update 6.15 is planned to be available on Saturday, November 30, 2024, around 22:00 UTC (could be earlier). After the weekend, you aren't able to play without having updated.
New mode: Doomsday Challenge
!! The first Doomsday Challenge is planned to start on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, depending on ongoing tests !!
Earlier this year we added Plight rounds to our Challenge to help increase TWD: No Man’s Land’s difficulty. We can now announce that those Plight rounds are the end of ‘Normal Challenge’, and a preview of what’s to come after, in Doomsday Challenge.
Doomsday Challenge is a brand-new Challenge mode consisting of 50 rounds per week, heavily increasing gameplay difficulty. You will still be able to play the Challenge you are used to, as well as complete it the way you’re used to if you manage to beat Round 90.
This newly created ‘Doomsday Challenge’ is for those of you who felt the Normal Challenge wasn’t much of a challenge anymore!
How to unlock
Doomsday Challenge is permanently unlocked the first time you completed 90 rounds of Normal Challenge, starting after Doomsday Challenge's launch; if you managed to beat Round 90 in the past, you have to do it once more in order to unlock Doomsday Challenge.
After that, you will see an ‘Enter Doomsday Challenge’ button when entering Challenge.
How does it work
After having Doomsday Challenge unlocked, the Normal Challenge and Doomsday Challenge are both available, and you can select which Challenge you want to play. You can always enter or quit the current Challenge at any time, without losing your progress.
While playing Doomsday Challenge, you can get all the rewards from Normal Challenge:
- Completing Round 10 with 4 stars in Doomsday Challenge: You will get all the rewards from Round 1 to Round 90 of the Normal Challenge when entering Round 11 in Doomsday Challenge, with all 6,210 Challenge Stars from the Normal Challenge.
- Completing Round 10 with 3 or less stars in Doomsday Challenge: You will get all the rewards of Round 1 to Round 80 of the Normal challenge when entering Round 11 in Doomsday Challenge. Your normal Challenge progress will be automatically counted to 4 stars for every round until Round 80.
- If you made progress in Normal Challenge before hitting Doomsday Challenge Round 10, you will automatically get the remaining rewards and stars from Normal Challenge, based on the current amount of Round Passes.
- Rewards are listed in a quick, summarized way. You don't have to open a ton of crates.
- Rewards are only issued once; you won't get extra Normal Challenge rewards at Doomsday Challenge Round 10 if you already completed 90 rounds of Normal Challenge.
Difficulty
Doomsday Challenge is supposed to be extremely difficult. Periodically, we will even announce difficulty buffs here to keep things as challenging as possible. This is your typical ‘extremely diehard’ mode. You have been asking for the reason why we added these strong Apocalypse weapons and armors - this is the reason!
You also asked about 'Challenge Sanity' before. It's to counter a Debuff named 'Tension'. The higher the Tension Rate, the lower your team's accuracy is, meaning that certain attacks could be missed. A 'Tension to Accuracy ratio' cannot be shared, because this is calculated individually per map. Tension can be countered by Challenge Sanity.
The tables below show you how many Walkers will spawn, as well as the possible Debuffs you can encounter.
Separate Leaderboard
We will have a separate leaderboard for Doomsday Challenge, consisting of Current Player Ranking and Global Player Ranking. Players are ranked by their Doomsday Challenge stars, listing the first 100 players. The refresh time aligns with the Normal Challenge’s leaderboard.
Round Passes and Rewards
Round Passes for Doomsday Challenge let you skip the corresponding rounds while giving you all available rewards the first time you enter a new Challenge. You will be shown how many rounds you've skipped as well. Example: if you have 3 Doomsday Round Passes, you will be taken to Round 4. All the skipped rounds are counted as being completed with 4 stars. In total, 10 Doomsday Round Passes can be obtained, bringing you to Round 11, after the earlier explained mark where you get the rewards for Normal Challenge.
Rewards for completing Doomsday Challenge rounds consist of Doomsday Round Passes, Weapon Modification Tokens, Reroll Tokens, Radios, and Hero Tokens. On top of that, Doomsday Challenge stars also give you Challenge crates, Token crates, Tools, Badge items/components, Heirloom Badges, and Reinforcement Tokens.
A full list of rewards can be found in a later announcement.
Maps
Doomsday Challenges will be played on different Mapsets, possibly consisting of a mix of old maps. We aim to refresh the Doomsday Mapset every 2 weeks and we aim to add new maps in every future update. The first Mapset will be announced later.
Feature: Negan's Deal
"Let's make a deal". Our next feature offers you some nice benefits at a small price, with the highlight being 'Battle Rewind'. Read all about Negan's Deal below.
Availability
Negan's Deal will be available at a later time. We will update you accordingly once we have information.
Benefits
Making a deal with Negan gives you the following benefits:
- Battle Rewind: Undo one move per battle. This function can be used once per battle by clicking the icon on the right of your screen (excluding Guild Wars). See an example below.
- Gold and Silver icons indicate you've activated Negan's Deal for 30 days or 7 days
- A Bronze icon is visible when Negan's Deal isn't active; it can be tapped to take you to the subscription page or it can be ignored if you aren't interested
- Reduced Healing Time: Heroes’ healing time is reduced by 20%.
- Extra Last Stand Attempts: Get two extra Last Stand attempts per Last Stand refresh, bringing the total to 20 attempts instead of 18. If you purchase your 7-day Deal in the middle of the week, this means you will receive 2 weeks where you can have 20 attempts. The total number of attempts is capped at 20; canceling a 7-day Deal in the middle of the week and then reactivating it won't grant you 2 attempts more.
Costs
Upon interest, Negan has two separate deals to choose from: 7 days and 30 days. Costs vary from $0.99 to $1.99, only available directly in-game.
Availability
Negan's Deal is currently only available for subscription on mobile devices (iOS and Android). If you are a Steam- or Epic player and interested in Negan's Deal, we recommend getting it through a mobile device. Feature: Morgan's Clear
Get more Gold!
We want to give you more opportunities to gain free rewards for your journey, as well as the opportunity to earn more Gold at a sharp price. So, besides Seven-Day Login Rewards, we introduce Morgan's Clear, granting rewards for logging in for 30 days.
Rewards
Right now, Morgan's Clear exclusively features Gold. Free users can get 300 Gold, while Premium users can get 10.200 Gold + 1000 Gold as a bonus. In case we change the rewards for a new Morgan's Clear month, we will be sure to inform you upfront.
Costs
Morgan's Clear is free for everyone, but when you're interested in the Premium version, it costs $9.99 in-game or $9.59 in our Webshop. You can also use 99 Fair Coins to unlock it.
To compare: normally you pay about $86.35 for 11.200 Gold, and even current bundles like Extra Gold Bundle and More Extra Gold Bundle will grant less Gold than through Morgan's Clear.
Logging in
Getting the rewards requires you to log in daily. Please note that daily rewards (including premium rewards) are only claimable when you log into the game.
If you miss out on a day during the current Morgan's Clear period, you have the option to unlock a day for 20 Gold, after which you can claim the rewards for that day. With current rewards, this is especially useful for people who went for the Premium rewards. So for example: let's say you're a Premium user, and you unfortunately didn't log in for 3 days. You can spend 60 Gold to unlock the 3 days, then claim the rewards as normal (with current rewards it would grant you 3x 300 Gold and 3x 10 Gold).
Daryl Buff
We felt Daryl (Hunter) could profit from a bit more power, so we buffed his Leader Trait! Starting at Level 8, the probability of not attracting more walkers will be buffed to 75% (previously 50 to 55%). At level 10, each Silent Shot will give 3 Charge Points instead of 2.
Leader Trait
(New part in Italic)
Daryl's attacks do not attract more walkers {0}% of the time, and are {1}% more likely to be Critical Hits. Every silent shot he makes has a {2}% chance of giving him {3} Charge Point(s). His Critical Hit deals +{4}% total damage.
Level 8 Unlock: The probability of attacks not attracting more walkers increases to 75%.
Level 10 Unlock: Charge Points gained from Silent Shot increased to 3.
As a leader, these bonuses apply to Assault, Hunter, and Shooter Survivors. Total critical chance cannot exceed 90%. All chances in Daryl's leader trait can be amplified by "Lucky".
Values
Weapon: Remington700 (Hunter)
Hunter - Apocalyptic
Important: Strategy
The Remington700 is a weapon with a unique Charge Attack. Aiming Mode is a high-risk-high-reward mechanic, granting a lot of power thanks to increased range, widened attack, preventing of body shots, and increased final damage, but leaving you stationary until the next Charge Attack. It comes with the strategy to be prepared for it, for example by making sure only to use it when enough enemies are around to make a follow-up charge attack. In certain missions (Kill All Walkers for example), you could view it as an optional requirement to finish a mission - if there is no way to go out of Aiming Mode again, the mission hasn't succeeded.
Special functionality
Attacks enemies in a straight line within 6 spaces. Charge attacks are guaranteed critical hits. After using a charge attack, the wielder enters Aiming Mode and cannot move during this time. Aiming Mode increases the range by 4 spaces, widens attacks by 70 centimeters, and prevents body attacks, increasing the final damage by 80%. Using a charge attack again will exit Aiming Mode.
Charge attacks can't be used for 2 turns after using one.

Traits
Silver Charging, Golden Silenced, Golden Incendiary

Special Equipment Call
For those of you who missed it, you are now able to get Blueprints through Equipment Radio Calls! Go from Camp to Radio and click the 'Collect Equipment & Resources' button.
Espada Ropera
Warrior - Apocalyptic
Originally, the Espada Ropera Call was scheduled until the third week of November, but due to a game-breaking bug that we just fixed with this update, we decided to extend it until December 18, 08:00 UTC.
Special functionality
Reaches 2 spaces away and hits in a cone-shaped area. Non-body shots can stun targets. Overwatch attacks force the enemy to end their turn early. Melee attacks towards weakened enemies will guarantee non-body shot hits and a charge point.
The user has a 70% chance to deal 100% damage with a teammate, when the teammate attacks enemies within the Sword's attack range. This effect can be triggered only once per turn.
Increases the movement range of the user by 2 spaces. When you pass a walker, you won’t be attacked. The same applies to passing human enemies, with a 60% chance of not being attacked.
Charge attack is a bonus attack with a guaranteed Critical Hit.
